After the opening round at Bear Mountain, David Ponich held a narrow lead, with Jaedon Carroll and Brenden Fougere lurking just behind.

For the first time in tournament history, competitors were tasked with playing 36 holes in a single day. What followed has become part of Bearback lore.

As fatigue set in and beverages continued to flow, Jaedon Carroll separated himself from the field. Carroll delivered a spectacular 85, while the next-best gross score was a 100 from Ponich. In a tournament known for unpredictable swings, Carroll's second round was one of the most dominant performances ever recorded.

He entered the final round at Highland Pacific with a commanding lead.

Early in the championship round, Carroll briefly showed signs of vulnerability as challengers attempted to close the gap. The opening lasted only a handful of holes. Carroll quickly regained control and cruised home to secure the chamapionship.

Behind him, a dramatic battle for second unfolded. Ponich struggled over the closing stretch, opening the door for Lucas Leisen, who edged into second place by the slimmest of margins.
